Angel Tree Ministry of Prison Fellowship

Cort Walker is heading up a ministry for our church to be involved in this Christmas season. It is an opportunity for us to help children and families with family members in prison. Here are the three different roles that you could volunteer for:

Purchase one or more gifts for the children assigned to us. Recommended cost for each gift is around $25. Wrap the gift and get it to the person who will deliver the gift.
Help deliver one or more gifts to the prisoners families. The gifts will need to be delivered around the end of November/ beginning of December.
Adopt an entire family. That would involve contacting the prisoners family point person and learning what types of gifts to purchase for the children in the family. purchasing and wrapping the gifts. As well as delivering the gifts to the family.

Here is the timeline for this service opportunity:
Nov. 10th: Cort will need a finalized list of volunteers
Nov. 10th-24th: Gifts need to be purchased and prepared and contact be made with prisoners families
Nov. 24th-Dec. 15th: Gifts should be delivered.
